Community Connections
Social values of community, compassion, justice and care for creation have been important to the Uniting Church from its formation; no less the Uniting Church in Castlemaine. We are also on the look out for new ways to be involved in our community. Requests and suggestions please!

Ecumenical Ministers Group. Through our membership of this group we we work actively for Christian unity in our area.
With the Castlemaine Anglican Church every Friday at 5pm we hold a Peace Vigil and Labyrinth Walk at Christ Church Anglican.
The Peace Choir. The choir grew out of the Castlemaine Multi-faith Peace Festival in 2008, which the church actively supported along with a number of other denominations and faiths. The Church donates its facilities to the Choir for its meetings and rehearsals and is committed to its purposes. The Choir welcomes anyone in need of a good sing or who feels isolated, unsure or a bit down. It performs sometimes, but exists mainly for the pleasure of singing, and for connection and inclusion, supporting and uplifting its members' mental health and well-being.
